NON-EMERGENCY TRANSPORT
The service dedicated to patients unable to autonomously carry out transfers for medical purposes
Croce Amica's volunteers engaged in the Non-Emergency Transport service take patients by ambulance from home to hospital (admission), from hospital to another hospital (transfer) and from hospital to home (discharge). It is also possible to organize transfers between health facilities, or between one domicile and another.
The Non-Emergency Transport service is dedicated to patients unable to autonomously carry out transfers for medical purposes. Unless otherwise required (mobile resuscitation centers, transfers with doctor and / or nurses on board, etc.) they are carried out by a complete crew of 3 trained volunteers to provide first aid assistance. The service is available by reservation, every day of the year 24 hours a day.
